A word from the artist…
I have been an artist all of my life – from my earliest days with butcher paper and crayons, to my undergraduate work as a printmaker, to my recent drawings in my professional life – my life has been a constant affair with art. Though the medium has changed over the years, and the subject of my work as well, one thing remains the same – the act of creating art brings me joy in an otherwise troubled world.
My artwork has never been political in nature; largely, it’s the act of creating and the places and things I draw and paint that bring me joy. A large body of my work consists of landscapes – places that I have been and enjoyed; a place that is just a little bit closer to God and the perfection that is nature.
